Sr. Test Engineer

Overview

The QA is responsible for supporting the planning, design and execution of system and integration testing in simple and complex implementations.  They will work collaboratively with the IT department to execute and    validate test cases based  upon system and application requirements.

This position will focus on test automation and require development skillsets and extensive hands-on experience designing, implementing and overseeing automated solutions for services/API.

 

Job Description

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

7-12 years of  Design, develop and execute manual functional tests and convert those into automated tests.

Hands-on experience with Functional testing, Automation Methodologies or application programming in Java, Python.

Experience using SOAP UI and/or Postman for REST API.

Having healthcare data (HL7, FHIR ) and Selenium (Automation) experience is plus.

Experience using automation tools to support testing of Services/APIs (RIT, Postman).

Ability to apply automation testing across middleware components such as IBM Message Queues, IIB service layers, etc.

Experience with performance test tools such as Load Runner, LoadUI NG, Visual Studio.

Back end validation of systems on HANA, IBM DB2 (including mainframe), Oracle, SQL Server and other platforms.

Solid understanding of SQL, stored procedures and ad-hoc query development. Comprehensive understanding of relational databases.

Experience with Continuous Integration using Bamboo & Urban Code Deploy or similar tools and Bit Bucket for version control.
