Lead the migration of the banking web application from .NET 3 WebForms to the latest .NET version, ensuring security compliance and seamless transition.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and oversee the migration strategy for the .NET upgrade.
Analyze and address compatibility issues between legacy WebForms and the latest .NET version.
Review and remediate VAPT security non-compliances on the upgraded application.
Optimize application performance post-migration.
Mentor and guide the development team on best practices for modernization and security.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, security teams, and infrastructure teams.
Ensure compliance with banking security standards and regulatory requirements.
Oversee testing, debugging, and deployment of the upgraded application.
Required Skills:
.NET Migration Expertise – Hands-on experience upgrading legacy .NET applications.
WebForms to .NET Core/MVC – Deep understanding of transition methodologies.
Application Security & VAPT Remediation – Experience in handling security compliance issues and applying fixes.
Database Optimization (MSSQL) – Ability to troubleshoot performance issues without altering existing database structures.
Banking/Fintech Application Experience – Understanding of banking security and regulatory requirements.
Cloud Deployment (Optional) – Familiarity with hosting and deploying applications on Azure/AWS if applicable.
Project Leadership & Code Review – Ability to guide junior developers and conduct thorough code reviews.
