The Master Data Programme Manager will oversee and manage the Master Data program, ensuring accurate and consistent data across the organisation. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing and implementing data governance systems, platforms, policies, and driving data quality initiatives in partnership with functional teams to support the company's operations and growth.
You will be responsible for:
Master Data Management: Lead the design, development, and implementation of master data management strategies and systems. Identify and deploy appropriate tools and technologies for managing master data, including data cleansing, transformation, and integration processes.
Data Models: Develop and implement data models, processes, and workflows that optimise data quality and usability.
Data Governance: Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of master data across the organisation. Define data standards, naming conventions, and data quality rules.
Data Quality and Reporting: Define and implement data quality metrics, monitoring mechanisms, and reporting processes to measure and improve the quality of master data. Identify data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to address data inconsistencies, duplication, and other data-related challenges.
Change Management: Lead change management activities related to master data initiatives, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement. Drive adoption and compliance promoting data stewardship and providing ongoing support and training to users.
Required skills:
Previous master data management experience in ERP systems.
2-4+ years’ experience in master data management preferably in large/ complex organizations.
Analytically minded and methodical problem solver.
Strong written and communication skills in English language.
Ability to collaborate and engage with senior stakeholders from multiple business functions.
